Savory Umami Glazed Chicken

The Method

How it's made

    Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and sauté the onions until they become soft and golden brown.

    Add the chicken strips to the pan and cook until browned on all sides.

    Pour in the soy sauce and fish sauce, stirring constantly to coat the chicken and onions evenly.

    Continue to cook for another 3-5 minutes until the sauce reduces into a glossy glaze and the chicken is fully cooked through.

Serve over steamed jasmine rice to soak up the savory pan juices.
